A stellar cast let down by poor storyline and script. The opening sequence when the tragedy unfolds is the best part of the movie and the story goes downhill from there settling into predictable and often boring. Hathaway and Chastain look as if they’ve walked off the set of Mad Men with their perfect coiffures and dresses. This could’ve been an intriguing depiction of how intense grief drives someone to homicidal behaviour. Falls far short though and ends disappointingly.

A cautionary and touching story of how social media and a judgemental and a patriarchal society combines to destroy the life of a vulnerable young girl. Brilliant acting and a riveting storyline makes this one of the best new releases on Netflix!

Funny, thought provoking and touching all at the same time. And a very appropriate movie for the times we live in. Where we see people different from us as the vile "other" . For all the critics who complained the satire isn't dark or biting enough, how can it be? The movie tries to make sense of all the hatred and darkness in the world through the eyes of a ten year old. If only we could rediscover our common humanity as JoJo did . A must watch movie .

It's a nuanced presentation of how easily the western powers can strike at will anywhere, keeping their own interests in mind. If you watch the movie In the aftermath of the strike which killed so many schoolchildren in Yemen you can see the real life parallels. And the movie makes you ask is there any difference between the western powers who kill civilians to eliminate their targets and the terrorists who kill to further their cause? No easy answers there.

What a terrible let down of a movie! Brilliant actors but horrible screenplay and a travesty of a story. Whoever told Tanuja Chandra that single women don't have fun and spend their time baby sitting other women's kids? Her idea of romance is of a newly met couple going on a trip to meet the man's ex girlfriends!!! What a likely story! All because the woman is so bored with her single life that she rather go on a trip with a man she's clearly hesitant about. Someone tell Ms Chandra that single women have a life. And romance isn't simply bringing together two very different people in a contrived way. This love story is drab, cold and falls flat on it's face. The jokes don't raise a laugh and there's no chemistry. Whether or not the man see the woman naked or whether she falls on him in a daze. Borrowing devices of conventional mainstream hindi movies doesn't work in a movie that pretends to be intelligent and different. Single is better than singlle. Truly.
