honestly the symbolism is my favorite part of this movie. finding out what all of it meant at the end made me look up more about this figure "Paimon". the nod to the flashing blue lights meant and symbolizes that he is in your presence, the feminine, but male face they got spot on, and the re-occurring symbol in use is Paimon's. there's so much detail put into this movie and still comes off as scary and that's a really hard thing to do in directing. the bad reviews are coming from people who have only watched and like popcorn horror, and are too ignorant to admire the detail put into this movie. 5 star and is a must watch for those that want to experience a horror film like none other. (Ari Asters film "mid sommer" has the same atmosphere as this one so I would recommend watching that one also).
