Kangana Ranaut shines though overall the movie is too long and disappoints.Starting with the gripping background introduction of the legend of Rani LaxmiBai with BigB s thick and heavy voice and a visually pleasing entrance of Kangana herself the movie moves ahead with evolution of the character with apt support of the co-actors. At points the movie fails to appeal visually nevertheless can be ignored as the strength lies in the plot which is quite inspiring. Kangana as the lead stands tall to make the heart pump at a few scenes although the loud emotions get quenched at scenes that make you feel like watching television serial on screen . Overall the movie can be watched for a standout performance by Kangana Ranaut .
