This is a beautiful story about how a lonely sick child still needs her friend and how a friend dearly misses his sick friend. Together they see each other through. Although my child was much older when she was really sick, she was very lonely. I think this is an excellent book for all children to be able to understand the social challenges of illness and the importance of maintaining friendships.
