Phoenix deserves every award and accolade that he receives for this performance. His performance takes hold of your attention from the start and you've got no chance of getting it back until the credits roll. Dark, heart rending, creepy, shocking and sad all describe the moods of different parts of this film. This is one of the few films I've watched in years that I'd actually buy for my collection.
