I never heard of the show. Actually, I haven't watched television for over 10 years. Then the shelter-in-place happened and I decided to finally check out Prime Video since I already paid for it. I happened to come across The Durrells in Corfu after watching all of the Downton Abbey episodes. I loved it from the get-go! The casting couldn't be any better... the actors fit their rolls very well--Bravo! I enjoyed the story lines very much as well. I am so glad to see that there are still shows like this that are not filled with so much crudeness that feeds the viewers spirits with the same. I hope I can find more shows like this as a good time-filler during this season of Shelter-in-Place [from the coronavirus pandemic].
