I felt like I was stepping back in time having lived in the era of QT’s latest work. Watching the actors portray their characters was enjoyable; kudos to DiCaprio, Pitt and Robbie for outstanding performances. The innocence and sweetness of Robbie, the vulnerability and sadness of DeCaprio, as well as Pitt’s friend through it all, just a regular good guy with a talent for stunts and strength made for a movie engrossing enough, that the 2 hours and 40 minutes flew by. It had to end, but the script, the acting, story line kept my attention, I could have watched more. Topping the list of enjoyment was stepping back in time; classic cars, mini skirts, lots of women in crocheted clothes, men in 60’s era shoes, polyester shirts, lots of neon signs on the streets. If you came of age in the late 60’s and 70’s, those things will make you smile and reminiscence of those days gone by.
