The constant recap.... The constant reminders of the "million bucks" prize.... The fake interviews that are shown in between tasks.... The faked drama of each task.... The uneven difficulty of each team.... The fake action movie soundtrack.... Just gets annoying after a time. The BBC "Race around the world" did it better. Showcasing the landscape and environment and having interesting teams. Avoid.

It's been a while since I actually found a film 100% engaging from start to finish. This one hooked me with clever writing, strong characters and just the right amount of action mixed with comedy, sleuthing and emotion. The casting was spot on. The direction perfect. The script was easy to follow but engaging. Not one for pop-corn chugging explosion filled film lovers...but for everyone else, i would definitely recommend.
