I simply just didn't get this movie, or the concept or what the message was. The film felt very cold and disconnected. Watching this felt like how it would feel, I assume, to be on some sort of Psychedelic drug. I'm extremely opened minded to films and it's unique take but this was not it. I have so many questions and feel like the film would of been great if only it had some sort of organization and clear execution of beginning, middle and end. I think most of these reviews are fake because there's is no way I'm the only one that thinks this movie was a let down.

Hmm the number of bad reviews are surprising. I actually enjoyed this film and found it very entertaining and thought everyone besides the villains did a good job! The actors that were the bad guys weren't very convincing but jlo and Omari Hardwick did great. Worth the watch, was engaged from beginning to end. Reminded me of a good 90s action thriller not over complicated just a good 2 hours of entertainment.

Movie had potential but sank mid way. Great actors but felt everyone was cast wrong. Regae Jean's character fell flat to me and made no logical sense. His role wasn't believable. Ryan Goslin, usually love him in everything but this meh. The Vilan with the mustache, annoying and once again not convincing as a bad guy. Overall, movie is packed with action and is something to watch on a boring day but if ur hoping for anything else don't count on it.

Remedial, terrible writing. Jokes cringe worthy and not funny AT ALL. Not well thought out script. Unnecessarily Vulgar. I really was shocked and disappointed that this type of quality is considered movie worthy. My 11 year old child could come up with a better script. Tyler perry has never been a great story writer however, Madea movies use to be very family friendly and touching, this was trash.

I tried, I really did but this story was dry, boring and annoying. The actress who protrayed Anna was blah in her role, the accent was hideous and annoying to listen to, what nationality was she trying to capture???? I really wish they stuck to the actual story and truly gave us insight to the life of Anna. Sorry Shonda but this was not your best work. It's so annoying how hard the entertainment world is trying to fit in and be down with this generation. Just make quality work and stop trying so hard it's sickening and insulting.

Shameful, all the offensive stereotypes of black people were ridiculous. After watching up to ep 3 im left saddened and disgusted with the writing and narrative. The show had great potential but missed the mark. Not sure who gave this show the green light as even the storyline is so ridiculous and makes no logical sense. From beginning to end i kept asking why? All while pinning it on an innocent black kid. Its a no for me.

Kind of disappointing the overall movie. Typical millennial film at some points it was nauseating to watch. Suicide and mental health issues are taken so lightly throughout movie. I wish the flim took time to explain more exactly what Finch was dealing with. Watching the entire movie felt like a waste of time. In the end violet is suppose to be left enlightened by her experiences with Finch but the truth is that was the life many of us lived before social media and cell phones. We explored, we danced, we read. I felt like the movie tried to hard to be deep and missed a lot of opportunities to actually send a real message across.
