I saw Shazam! tonight. It was good to see a film about my childhood superhero and to see most of it was filmed in my city Toronto. I appreciated that this movie was very much good verses evil. The Seven Deadly Sins were mentioned several times. However, I wish the movie left the theme of the superhero being immature and still learning his powers. I wish the superhero Captain Marvel was protrayed more as a competent adult as he was in the comic books I read as a child. Overall, it was a good movie.
