I remember when I was 14 going to see A New Hope with no idea of what I was about to watch beyond the poster artwork. Not being a fan of horror, the imaged of Darth Vader genuinely creeped me out. Of course now in my fifties and some what desensitized to on screen violence, The Mandalorian can feel a bit sterile, all that shooting and hardly a mess. To get the most out of the Mandalorian, particularly for older fans, you need to remember what it was like to watch the first trilogy. The story, the characters and the action. I think the Mandalorian ticks those boxes.
