I loved GoT till season 6, s06 being my favorite. I loved everything about it... characters, scenarios, plot.. everything but season 7 was a huge disappointment (it was like a fan fiction) .After waiting all those months staying away from spoilers and what not, it just disappointing me to see how poorly written those episodes where... most of the characters seemed distant.. it was just lacking. i will still be watching s08 and i truly hope it will be way better than season 7.
