A fun comedy with silly gags and likeable characters. It won't be for everybody, and definitely has a target demographic (gen z and millennials). American audiences may find similarities to other comical comedies like Saved By The Bell. But this is definitely Korean. It could be a good bridge for Americans who have never watched Korean shows. It also stands out for being one of very few shows with strong representation coming out of Korea --something in short supply.

A charming comedy that avoids being the cheesy rom-com that the premise would suggest. It avoids obvious cliches and manages to keep you entertained and wanting more. Matafeo's performance and comedic timing are always on point.

Sweet Tooth is a dystopian fantasy perfect for most age groups because it has well developed characters of all ages (like say Stranger Things). The first season does a lot of this character building meaning it will likely last at least a few seasons. The show has a lot of heart and even though it can be dark, it is never scary. It leaves room for mystery to come and leaves you wanting more.
