Soooo corny... hard to watch sometimes so I fast forward... cringe worthy soundtrack. Thought I could get passed the overly acted sappy moments but I can’t... stopped at episode 3. I gave it 2 stars for the digital effects... they did awesome. Too bad the story is so out of touch with reality it’s unbearable. The attitude issues of the astronauts would have already been ironed out long before the mission... the commander had NO CLUE about a chemical on the ship... she unhooks her tether cord on a space walk, disregards quarantine protocol putting everyone at risk... so ridiculous. Honestly... they could have tried to make it a little bit less far fetched. Maybe I’m too much of a space nerd for this show... but it’s bad. For it being a trillion dollar mission... everything keeps breaking... their crew is a mess... and the writers care more about the “back home” story line than the mission to Mars... I was so looking forward to another awesome space series and I’m severely disappointed. Grey’s Anatomy - space edition. But worse. Like a cheap copy cat. Sorry guys... I want to think of something redeeming... but I can’t.
