I hated the fact that Nam Dosan was given a chance to get closer to Dalmi while Jipyeong didn’t after revealing the truth. I mean Han Jipyeong should be the protagonist, Nam Dosan was always shown as a selfish person trying to get closer to Dalmi despite knowing that Jipyeong had something to do with Dalmi. Dosan also tried to snatch away Jipyeong’s place

I felt that the story line was deliberately dragged in the second half.

Movie is amazing. It teaches the audience two main values of life:- 1) Skin colour doesn’t matter 2) Non-vegetarianism is barbaric and bad. The protagonist is beautifully compared with Lord Krishna! His colour, name, family background, love towards the calf, devotion to the lover depict the Supreme. The antagonist reflects the evils of the society like judging a person by colour and caste, killing an animal, forging selfish consanguineous alliances. The movie is a must watcher for everyone. The only drawbacks of showing this to children are:- 1) too much smoking 2) “DOUBLE MEANING” Jokes Movie also shows how a Christian and Hindu be friends and respect each other’s beliefs.

It is just another movie which talks good about Christianity and bad ones are Hindu Upper caste! It might have been reflecting the past situation. The situation now in Srikakulam district is reversed, the upper caste (shaukars) are the most oppressed. Trust me when I am saying this, it is very hard to do business right now in these rural areas

It was more like a Christian Version of “Oh My God”. It is just that they didn’t put any Hindu element in the movie. Some scenes of the movie gave me a head ache! But the concept was nice. It throws some light on how people are converted.

This is the first time that my tears have come out of my eyes while watching something. It’s loaded with lots of emotion. Loved it!

It is an amazing movie, showing how brutal were Britishers. The movie also shows how their primary interests were only about profits and evangelism and not about the basic needs of the workers
