I have listened and enjoyed all previous books by Quintin Jardine and cannot praise the author or the narrator Bryce enough. I have become familiar with every different voice and character the reader portrays and can hardly wait for the next book (have all audio books in my library).
However, what happened with Funeral Note. Different readers with totally different voices which I found difficult to note who was who apart from when Bryce appears again.
The story line has been spoilt by the change in readers and I was shocked when Bob Skinner's voice had an Irish accent and not Scottish (Bob would be horrified!)
I sincerely hope that all the rest are back to normal with only the splendid James Bryce reading.
The added readers in this book did their job but I was unhappy with the change.
