I'm usually obsessed by politics and the politics of law, and by boats. So I was drawn in by the evocations of the sea and of Greenland. The story - with the flashbacks and returns to the present - drew me in until I had to finish it, had to know what happens. I was hooked by the narrator and principal character as her story was revealed.
