This is one the best if not, the best Super Smash Bros. games ever. This was one of the few games on the Switch that I was genuinely super hyped about, and this game definitely delivered that hype. Like every other Smash game, this game has a roster of multiple characters from different video game franchises to fight on multiple different stage against other video game characters. One of the many reasons this game is great is the MASSIVE roster of characters in this. This game's roster is the largest in Smash history, and on the largest in fighting game history. The are SO many great characters ranging from the Inklings from the "Splatoon" franchise, Joker from the "Persona" franchise, and even Steve from "Minecraft." There are also many returning favorites, in fact, all returning favorites from prior Smash games; after all, this whole game's moto is "Everyone is here!" This roster is fantastic and probably the best in the series by far. Another reason this game is so great the variety of modes and options to do in this game. You, of course, got "Smash" mode which is simply just doing battle with your own custom rules and battling friends or family and/or CPU. Then you got "Spirits" mode. This mode has several options you can do, ranging from just battling random spirits, upgrading and powering up ones that you've collected, and of course, "The World of Light." "The World of Light" is the new adventure mode that this game features. It's not like "Subspace Emissary" in terms of story, like in "Super Smash Bros. Brawl," but there is still A LOT of adventuring and fun to have in this mode. I won't share the "story" in this mode, but basically you go an adventure to rescue characters and spirits lying around the giant world you explore. You initially start off with Kirby, but the more characters you rescue, the more your character roster grows. This mode is great at not only collecting spirits, but also learning to use characters that the player may not typically use. There is even a difficulty setting on this mode in case the player wants a harder challenge. There are is also Classic Mode. Classic mode in this game works by setting whatever the character the player chooses on a specific path. This path will have them fight characters and/or bosses that suit the character in some way, whether it's their role in their games, their personality, or based off the story in their games. It's a cool way to show appreciation for the character and their franchise, and like the previous mode, has a difficulty setting which gives the player to choose something within their skill level. There is also an online option in this game. You can play with other players online and try to climb your way into elite smash, spectate, or even host your own room to play with friends. There also extra smaller modes and options, such as Training, listening to music and voice clips, creating Mii fighters, stats and records, and even an in-game shop. Overall, this hands down is one of the best Switch games out there, and is a massive recommend if you own or are planning to own a switch.

Before I make this review, I'm going to be BRUTALLY honest. I only played Pokémon X only. I haven’t played ANY of the other games in the series. With that being said, this game has some pros, and quite a few cons. To start off, this game takes place in the new area, called the Galar region, where quite a handful of new Pokémon and some old ones. Like every other mainline Pokémon game, you travel through the region battling and capturing Pokémon. You build your team and try to defeat gym leaders, and discover "mysteries" of the Galar region. Ok, so the pros. Tbh, this game had some interesting new Pokémon to discover. I really enjoyed the fun and cool designs of some of these Pokémon, not to mention the game itself is fun to play overall. After all, it's like the other games where catching and battling is the main focus. Despite what some think, I kinda enjoy the new Dynamxing mechanic as well. It's a fun new way to battle, and honestly is not as overpowering as Megas. Another great pro is the wild area in the game. The wild area itself is a great way to find new Pokémon and also fight Pokémon that are way above your league. It's even better that they added the roaming wild Pokémon feature that was used in "Pokémon Let's Go" which makes it easier for players to find a Pokémon they want without having to do random encounters. Another great thing about the wild area is the size of it, and whild not ridiculously huge, it’s still fairly large and quite a bit explore. Another cool little feature they added is also ability to camp with your Pokémon and even join others online. This camping feature is pretty much the replacement for "Pokémon Amie" back in Pokemon X and Y. Players can play with their Pokémon and even cook curry with to help them bond closer (Btw, the curry looks crazy good). Finally the characters in this game, while not the greatest, they were still fun and a few were actually memorable. Now here are the cons. One of the biggest issues if not the biggest issues in this game is the limited Pokédex. In the past, Pokémon games allowed players to be able to transfer and capture ANY Pokémon from any region, even if it wasn’t available in the game. However, in this game, about 2/3 of the Pokémon can be captured or transferred over to this game (this includes DLC). This makes it very limited to what kinds of team players can build whether they’re casual or competitive. Another problem is the lack of high quality animations and designs. Let me get something clear here. The animations aren't horrible; however, they clearly didn’t try when it can to making animations for the Pokémon (except for maybe the new Pokémon and Gigantamax forms). The quality of the designs and objects in this game are also pretty bad in some parts of the game. For example, the trees in the wild area look like they came out of a Nintendo 64, rather than a HD Nintendo Switch game. There are other flaws, (like the recent change to the online battle system, and the story) but I won't get too deep into it. There is also DLC for this game. The first being a pass to a place called "The Isle of Armor" and the second leading to "The Crown Tundra." The passes unlock more Pokémon who have previously been cut, more Gigatamax forms, and new Legendary Pokémon. Overall, Sword and Shield are games that have some great pros to it, but also have quite a few cons as well. This game honestly just needed more time and effort but into it, but it’s still a fun experience if you are very casual Pokémon fan or someone who is new to Pokémon overall.

This game is no longer available, but I'm gonna make a review anyway. For those unaware, Mario 35, is a game inspired by Tetris 99, where players would play in many of the levels of the original "Super Mario Bros." game, and compete against 34 other players to see who can last the longest. The game itself is a great and fun concept. The biggest mechanic in the game was the ability to defeat enemies and send them to the player that you are targeting. It makes the game quite chaotic and it was honestly fun. However, this game doesn’t come without some drawbacks. While the game and its concept is definitely great, the very limited game modes and the method of unlocking levels is atrocious. There are only 2 modes in the game, and both were very similar to each other, and unlocking levels were difficult. The only way to unlock levels was to encounter them while playing. While it sounds easy, finding these levels were ridiculous. You can only encounter them if another player choses it or if you find one through secret passages in the level itself, which is also rare. Overall, this game in concept is great and fun, but the limited modes and the unlocking system, not as fun or addicting as it could have been.

I know this game is no longer available, but I want to make a review about this nonetheless. This is for anyone who is trying to get this game through other means, like eBay and etc. This game overall is pretty great. I honestly had a great time playing these classic 3D Mario titles. All three of these game run smoothly and the games themselves are absolutely a joy to play. Galaxy is still as fun as ever, and know finally in HD, Mario 64 is still fun and simple, and Sunshine, while the controls are still a bit of problem, is still a unique and charming as it was on the Game Cube. While the games themselves are great, there is a few glaring issues that need to be pointed out. For one, the limited release it had. The fact that this game was only available for about 7 months was absurd, but some of the biggest issues was the lack of legacy or "celebratory" content it had in the game. The only thing in this collection that was "celebratory" was the music, but frankly, most people can just enjoy these songs by looking them up. Not to mention, these ports seemed poor put together. For some unknown reason, Mario 64's screen is smaller than Sunshine's and Galaxy's and many of the glitches in the game weren’t patched up. Overall, this game is great. It has three wonderful 3D Mario games to enjoy, but at the same time the limited release and the poor- made ports do give this collection a bit of a drawback for me, and makes this collection a bit underwhelming.

I have never played a shooter before, but the moment I picked this game, I knew I was going to enjoy it. Splatoon 2 controls are a great, ranging from motion to stick controls. The controls on this game are easy to pick up, so new players won't have to worry about having a hard time playing the game. Not only are the controls great, but the online modes in this game are awesome! There is turf war, which is the casual, primary mode in this game, which you just cover the stage with your team's ink, and whoever has the most ink covered at the end wins. There is also ranked modes, which are more competitive modes, that range from: Splat Zones (Cover a zone on the stage with your ink and control the zone for as long as possible) Tower Control ( Ride a tower to the opponent's base), Rainmaker ( Carry a powerful weapon to the opponent's base), and the newest mode, Clam Blitz (Throw as many clams into the opponent's goal). There is also a new online mode, called Salmon Run, where you must deliver a certain amount of eggs to a basket, while defeating and getting past a horde of creatures, called Salmonids. The modes are all extremely fun and have a lot of variety for players to play with. There is also 2 single player modes. The main one is Octo Canyon, which is where players go through platforming-like levels to learn the mechanics and different weapons in the game. The second one being a paid DLC called the Octo Expansion. This single player mode is more challenging and has 80 different missions the player can play. This game also has a lot of customization with players being able to customize, their Inkling/Octoling to the style they want. Not only that, but the gear you choose also affects how your character and weapon plays, which really changes the gameplay a TON and it's incredible. There is also a large variety of weapons to choose from: classic shooters, giant paint rollers and brushes, to even buckets and umbrellas. This game has a tons of weapons that players can learn and that will affect their playstyle. Finally, Splatoon 2 has fantastic events that, originally, were held every month, called Splatfest, which is were you would pick a side on a certain theme, and then fight for the team to win the Splatfest. Overall, Splatoon 2 is an EXCELLENT shooter, in fact, probably the best online game on the Switch. The large variety of modes, easy to pick up controls, great customization, and just the overall concept of the game is absolutely terrific. I also haven't even gotten to how good Splatoon 2's music is. Some of the best in gaming history. This game is a BIG recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a new online game experience.

About a couple months I decided to buy this game, and I have one thing to say about it: IT. IS. A. BLAST. I have played several fighting games in the past, but I haven't had as much fun as have with ARMS. The game's whole concept is that players play as characters with extendable arms to hit opponents. This is a very unique concept for a fighting game. However, that's not the only great thing about this game. The gameplay is great, with the extendable arms bringing some very unique mechanics in the game. There is also a ton of different ARMS (weapons) types to chose from, which you can choose to fit your playstyle. The game also has a unique, fun cast of characters, in fact, some of the best in Nintendo history. The designs of these characters are amazing and I can tell the team behind this game worked very on their designs. Not only that but each character has their own unique abilities that separate them from each other, such as Min Min's defecting kicks, Kid Cobra's extra dashes, and Dr. Coyle being able to fly and turn invisible. These abilities make these characters have fun but different playstyles from each other, and I love it! There are actually several ways to play this game (Yes, you don't have to use motion controls). You can use motion, Pro controller, and a single joy-con. This is great, since players can test out and find what controls work best for them. Finally, the game has some fun modes: Grand Prix (Which is somewhat of a story mode), Hoops, Volleyball, Skillshot ( Hit a bunch of targets to get the most points), Hedlok Scramble (Wear a helmet that gives the player 4 additional ARMS), 100 ARMS Test (Defeat 100 characters), and ARMS Test (Win as many matches with random ARMS). There are also a few online modes: Party Matches (Play with people for fun) and Ranked Matches ( The more competitive mode) and there is also local multiplayer. These modes are a lot of fun, however, the one problem with this game is that it doesn't have a lot of modes, and for some, it may get repetitive because of that. Overall, ARMS is a fantastic game, with unique gameplay, a fun cast of characters, and modes that are fun to play. Oh, and did I mention the music in this game is absolutely underrated, in fact, some of the best Nintendo has created. I highly recommend this game if your looking for something new to play on your Switch.

This is probably the best $20 I have spent on dlc for a game. The expansion is fun but also very challenging for those players who enjoy a challenge. It also expands much more on Splatoon's unique lore and gives it a darker but much more interesting vibe. This dlc also has a ton of 'ink-cedible' new music tracks if you are a fan of Splatoon's music. Overall, the Octo Expansion an amazing dlc that is worth $20. Tons of new and challenging levels to play, along with a fantastic soundtrack and lore.
