I think the best aspect of this show is that we get to watch a passionate chef in his flow in an imperfect home environment while being entertained. In many cooking shows the staring chef has the pressure of entertaining the audience while simultaneously engaging their passion of producing the food. Amy lifts the entertainment burden off her husband so we just get to see him purely in his element despite the many interruptions that comes with making a show. Plus, Amy is funny and their relationship is warm and relatable.
