I love this movie. It really told the silent ground reality of India. I'm out of words! The characters, the plots that were disclosed with every new episode were mind blowing. Like the so-called progressive minds being so backward in their approach (the ias asking for dowry) , the kids not consenting to their old parents marriage, the girl forced and drugged by her parents to marry someone out for election coalition and personal benefit , modern minds still subjected to superstitious accounts (like marrying the tree) ,girls married off only with their parents desire to make her settle in America . And also the characters ,like at the end finally Tara gets away with his toxic ,always cheating husband and becomes what she really was, knowing love was what she desired more than the monetary benefits. She didn't settle for less and dumped her former bestie for betraying her trust. And we have Jazz, Jazz being the girl who is very much familiar with her responsibilities as the only earning member in her not too so good-to-go family. She finds and brings back her drugged brother , she tries to fit in as much as possible to the new modern world she was confronted to, but she never lost hope. She tried her best and ended up with her old lover (yay). Then we have Shabini, who though moved to Harmony from Made in Heaven for her daughter's best interest, she always had a soft corner and a sense of concern for her former business partners (ps she was among the three people who started made in heaven). It showed the struggles of a single mother. Then we have Kabir, he narrated the stories so well, with the best and most suitable conclusions he can draw at the end of every episode. He ,along with the made in heaven team never settled for just the conduction of the wedding, but also for their bride's and groom's happiness. They wanted to serve them best, make it their day and make them "actually" happy. Then we have my fav character "Karan' ,he is like the most courageous one in the storyline. The arrest he was subjected to made him raise a PIL for decriminalization of Section 377. His plight depicted the society we live in , where young, progressive minds are suppressed on the name of "traditional beliefs" which btw is nowhere related. I loved how it showcased the difficulties of the LGBTQA+ community in India. The making of this series is itself such a great achievement as it throws light on the plight of the suppressed and the gullible minds in the country. This movie really did justice to its plot. A MUST WATCH . I loved it :D
