Rushed.
I'm a huge MK fan since the 2000s. And while watching this 2021 remake I felt they made unnecessary changes to the original storyline. The first 10 or so minutes were by far the best of the whole movie. Even though the CGI was acceptable the introduction of QuanChi and the different Liu Kang Dragon was doubtful.
Scorpion and Sub Zero castings saved the movie in my opinion.
