Is it not about time that Rose and Paul retire? They make every news item sound like bad news, even when it’s good news. And how come Donna can deliver whole sentences on her own later in the evening, whilst Rose and Paul have to share even short items, for example last night Rose announced that the next item would be what was on the National news but Paul had to say, coming up Mary Nightingale. Come on UTV, let’s speed up the news and while you’re at it, do we really need Julian mumbling the next programme coming up?
