This is such a load of junk, trying to masquerade as satisfying suspense, and a think piece.
The issues it brings up are laid out in such an obvious and facile manner, and its skewering of society is hackneyed and oversimplified. The dialogue is mostly terrible too.
The actors do their best. Hawke does his usual schtick, which is fine, but also annoying. Roberts is good, especially what’s she given to work with, and Ali is excellent, per usual, even with huge chunks of narrative exposition for lines.
Don’t waste your time on this junk!
