Steep learning curve and performance issues are definitely present, but personally doing some things to optimize the game and going into it with an understanding mind can result in some of the most rewarding moments in gaming.

I read this book 30 years ago and have never been able to forget it. I had no particular interest in ancient Egypt, I just enjoyed Mailer books. I guess this was my favorite of all. Something magical about it. Very much like a time warp. It captivated me. As a historian I recognized the merit of Mailer's research. I detected no false notes. I suspect you too will find it unforgettable.
