Hands down one of the best MCU Movies. Every actor/actress were believable and the fighting choreography was extremely well choreographed and executed.
I also really love that it wasn't a normal Marvel movie with all the jokes, it felt more real in terms of dialogue.
The fighting as well wasn't anything crazy like you'd see in a lot of Kung Fu movies, this was more like your classic Jackie Chan stunts, where it's able to be done as a regular human being (obviously that's been training). What I mean by this is, there was no superpowers involved for the martial arts, like no flying, fighting in the air, being able to jump 20 feet in the air, etc.
Only time there was anything extraordinary was when the Ten Rings was being wielded or "someone" with actual powers as a guardian.
Although the movie being a little over 2 hours..You don't feel like it's a drag nor does it feel rushed either. If you've never read any comics on Shang-Chi (like myself), this film really goes over who he is and his past as well as his father. It doesn't feel forced and doesn't feel like they left anything out either.
I know Awkwafina tends to play as the same type of jokester/sisterly/Best Friend character in many of the films she acts in, but her character definitely suited her really well.
I'll definitely be watching this again with some friends! HIGHLY Recommend!
