This is one of the most ridiculous movies I have watched recently. Very flat plot with almost no ups and downs and no character development with an anti-climactic ending. An old vulnerable protagonist is admitted into an old age home with sick demented people around. However, she soon smells a conspiracy running underneath. She uncovers it with her confused grandchild and both of them eventually become part of it. How ridiculous. The ending is horrendous and doesn't match with the rest of the story and how the characters have been presented. Acting is pretty poor. Except for the lead actress, rest of them are just used as props. The plot was so weak that you would guess right in the first half what was happening and what might happen except that the ending ruined even that feeling of excitement of solving an easy puzzle. Watch it if you have nothing else to do.

The movie is good to some extent. The sense of foreboding makes you wait for it to happen. But the ending makes you feel cheated. You feel disgusted at a character for committing horrible crimes; his evilness makes your stomach crawl and you wait for the revenge to be taken. However, the symbolic ending does not go well with the pace and build up. A common viewer seeks something tangible. This movie fails to justify that wish. I must appreciate the acting of all major characters. The evil husband makes you cringe. You sympathize with the submissive wife. I will say, give it a go. It's not that bad. A new taste and new perspective to horror, that's what you will get. Spoiler : The opening scene is just there to mislead you. I feel that was not even needed as the story soon reveals the husband to be a remorseless evil person.

My goodness. How could it have got less than 8 on IMDB? It should have got at least 10. So gripping it has been from the beginning. The story is not only about Frie's trial, it is also intricately woven with subplots of some of the jury members, that complements the main plot. It's a complex story, a complex knot that you try to unwind. You place yourself in place of the jury and try to figure out what might have happened. Then you get overwhelmed with the lot happening in the trial. I have been binge watching the show as of now. However, couldn't stop myself from posting this review. Go, watch it. You won't regret.

The movie is so unsettling from the beginning. It reminds me of Jonestown mass suicide/murder. The actors played their roles so convincingly that you feel as if you are watching it as being a part of it. From the beginning you feel something's off but can't fathom the depth of the ploy until the moment of revelation comes. The film never fails to surprise you.

Wasted nearly two hours to have a painful journey through everything that can go bad about a movie. Poor acting, predictablity of the plot, misplaced melodrama, illogical progress. Even a good actor like Sharman Joshi acted like an amateur.

Didn't know that a comedy would create moments to bring tears to my eyes. Acting is the strongest point of the movie. A simple story is told im a simple but outstanding way. You can relate to the characters and their emotions. You laugh, cry, get embarassed with the characters as the movie advances. A must watch movie.

A simple story wonderfully told.

It was intriguingly disturbing.
