I'm getting in touch with my blackness more and more by the day. Between the unarmed killings and the daily disrespect I find that this book ties all that in in such an eloquent and artistic way. It's crazy how you can really see the plight of our people through the art in this book. Black on black crime, light skin vs. dark skin, curly hair vs. straight hair, rich vs poor etc. etc. Not only does it show it but it also shows that with understanding and with love we can get through all that and get to the path that God has written for us... 400 years are up.. Looking forward to the next 400 ✊🏾
