Oliver Stone is such a revisionist...! The way he portrays Truman as some bumbling idiot that fell into a mighty man’s shoes: One, FDR was NOT who people thought he was; two, Truman made mistakes for sure, but he’s a good portion of the reason we’re not all calling each other “comrade.” I knew going into this nonsense that Stone was going to do what he always does. And he didn’t disappoint. Why do we give people like this a microphone?!
