After watching the first trailer of this movie, I became a fan. I had listened to the trailer over and over again and basically remembered all of the sayings that each of the characters reenact. Next was the song, Tum Hi Aana. Watching the music video of this song made me cry like anything. From that point on, I was not only invested to go to the cinema to watch Marjaavaan but to also know why Raghu killed Zoya. The 14th of November came. I watched the movie on the 15th and I just want to say one thing and one thing only. Marjaavaan is one of the greatest movies I have seen in my life. I watch many old Hindi movies from the late 1900’s and 2000’s and this movie was quite similar to it but in a newer and recent adaptation. Yes, I cried throughout the movie but it was worth it. My beautiful Raghu was sensational. Raghu had so much involvement in the movie and it could be seen through his emotions as to when he lost his love, Zoya. His pain could not only be seen through his face but also his heart. Once I looked at him, I felt a special connection between my heart and his heart. It was as if it was yearning to call out to someone to save his love, Zoya. For Tara, she was mind blowing. Her acting was supreme and the amount of emotions and facial feelings gave me goosebumps. It was so touching to see a girl who cannot speak in a prestigious movie and I loved it. Ritesh was an amazing actor as always and I love how funny he was at times. If you haven’t seen this movie, then please do. If I loved it, then you will too. And please keep your opinions and perspectives to yourself. I don’t want any bad comments about this movie because you are obviously wrong and delusional. Thank you guys; I love you, Raghu and Zoya 💘
