Mahendar Arora

I was born in 1947. On its premiere day in 1957 at Regal Theatre in New Delhi, I managed to squeezed through the motley crowd gathered there and managed to stand in front. I still remember when Dev Saheb passed by shaking hands of his admirers. I still remember the softness of his eyes when he spotted me and took my small hand in his enormous hand. I shall take the softness of that hand to the other world, if He shall allow. I instantly fell in love with him, his hair style and his movies. But this movie became immortal for me and etched a special place in my heart !
