I personally liked it not that uphold little girls wearing proactive clothing or twerking because the movie is not about that its about a little girl coming of age with all these responsibilities finding a break through in finding herself ,because if u look past all the proactive stuff you'll see shes trying to fit into what society likes, as u can see in the in the first half of the movie she wasnt like that she dressed appropriately for her age it was when she went to school and the girls were disregarding her clothing she started to change plus she wanted to make friends and being herself wasnt good enough for others she tried something else. I think the reason she started acting worse is because she was afraid shed lose the only people she called friends and its sad that if u wore normal clothes people wouldnt like u or acted the way u wanted your either too boring or too slutesh and im glad at the end she finally found who she wanted to be and i think the too pieces of clothing left on the bed represented two different people she rejected and started to be herself as the saying goes dont judge a book by its cover
