You parents/babysitters waaah'ing and boohoo'ing about that "sad parts" need to realize you CANNOT shield or shelter your kids. It's good for them to see those things. They'll grow up knowing not to take mommy/daddy for granted. I see no issue with it at all. Let them see it! Let them grow emotionally! Let them ask questions!
