The Child

WOW. If I were asked to explain this movie in three words, they would be Beautiful, Scary, and Glorious. This movie blew me away. After The Last Jedi, I had started to lose hope, but this movie restored my hope. This was the best Star Wars movie ever made. Absolutely stunning in every way. I've seen it twice now, and what few complaints I had the first time, I realized after my second viewing were just because I was afraid the first time. My fear ruined it a little, which may be why its getting some of the low reviews it is. Lots of the hate this movie got was out of fear, or a determination to hate this movie no matter what, because it was absolulty amazing. The characters, the story, and the way it tied all of Star Wars down to one epic finale. It wasn't just a finale to this trilogy. It was more a finale to the saga. Not just a fight between Rey and Palpatine, but a fight between the dark side and the light. If they lose, the results will be worse than Revenge of the Sith, and if they win, it will be better than Return of the Jedi. Its all built up to this moment, and boy did it pay off. Thank you J. J. Abrams, and all the people involved who brought this epic tale to life, and who healed my faith in the franchise. I could not be more satisfied.
