This is one of Dreamwork’s most underrated films. I seriously don’t get why it flopped in the box office. The cast was amazing, the story and characters were interesting and enjoyable, plus the animation was very well done. But my favorite part was originality. There have never been and probably won’t for a long time, be something like this. The characters are still the most unique versions I’ve ever seen.
This movie deserves a sequel. If it had, a great idea for a villain would be another being chosen by the moon, this one representing halloween. However, unlike Jack Frost, it saw itself as a monster and hated the moon for both resurrecting him and keeping quiet. As an extra detail, he could be seen without needing kids to believe in him, sort of representing primal fear.
