What a stand-alone on the musical and acting level! Adult level loved it. Where it becomes confusing is Why the creators decided sexual innuendos, sexual gender and preferences needed to be a part of an otherwise amazing modern musical, which should be safe for all ages. I think you missed it for a successful beautiful work. As a parent I would be forewarned. Was going to watch it with the grandkids sight unseen. Super glad I didn’t.
