A weird comic book that you can't just look away from. I guess the series gets it. 5 stars for a tick with covered eyes. 😅

Nice. netflix translation sucks though. do Japanese people even use "totes" and "amazeballs"?! Disappointing.

Could have been 5... starting to get sick of these "diversity" thing. what's up with woke hollywood? What has the depiction of some of the character's sexuality have to do with the story? Why make up a whole arc about scissoring that wasn't even in the book? I'm not even looking for my representation in the series. Guess what, I/m not gay or black and it's okay. Was after a good comic book series but the "shameless plugs" are a bit much. Never got passed season 2. that was it for me.

Not as bad as I was thinking because of all the "critic" reviews. 😂 It's nice! More of a kong movie, should have been kong x godzilla. Popcorn movie, no deep thinking needed. It's a modernized showa era silliness. If the movie's objective is realism, they failed miserably. It's like 2016 was the monsterverse best effort and goes downhill from there.

it's nice but I feel it's a mixed bag... if you were to think how cultures are, the korean seems too straight forward? or is that realistic? the things they do when love is involved regarding the things they say, touching and what not. jong hyeop-shi seems very brash towards fumi-san. which is comical for a long time k-drama watcher. seems more like how westerners would go for a girl. just my opinion though since I haven't watched any japan dramas yet. As for fumi-san, being too reserved and formal seems stereotypical...? I think this was made for western taste and not really for local audiences.

It's everything you expect when you see the anime. Too bad, I'm so far into the manga with the anime rolling out slow that it's a bore at times. Still give it a 5 though.

My only critique is, don't get me wrong, the battle scenes are awesome but they were choreographed by people who forgot the monsters are gigantic! I mean, for creatures of that size moving as fast as they do?! king of monsters did it better. otherwise, it's all good. 1 less star for making the most important part of the movie almost bad. I wish i saw more of the other titans too. Can they make another cut that's 4 hours long and actually showing everything fans were expecting?

story-wise, pretty decent. Can't help notice inserts of woke nonesense though... me being a fan and all would likely turn a blind eye for now. I hope apple stops pandering and remember that people go watch this stuff not for the "people" but for the effing monsters!

think of it as a japanese "chicken soup for the soul" with a foodie twist.
