Legacies have a very strong base from tvd and originals. I liked originals more than vampire diaries coz of its brilliant acting and whole other history of the original family, if you have watched both previous shows then only care to watch it or not. Acc. to me legacies is only running by the good will of the originals. Acting in legacies is 3rd class. But it ok if they have got any plot which sadly they don't
