flawed but an overall great movie. my main issues in the movie are certain shots not working, the lighting is a bit much, some of the cgi looked a bit off, and it really needed more Clark Kent being a reporter. with that said, those issues didn't ruin my experience of the movie. I really loved how it made me feel like a kid again watching the Fleischer and the DCAU cartoons. the dynamic action, the chemistry between the characters, the emotions, and the fact that this movie is wearing its source material like a big S on its chest. not to mention all the memes that will spawn from this movie. the internet will be eating well for a long time. hope to see more from this new universe especially with how unashamedly comicbooky it is.

If you're here to watch an action packed movie full of clashing swords and heroic acts, you're gonna have a bad time. However, if you like movies with a lot of symbolism, subtlety, and though provocation then give this movie a try, just don't expect a LOTR clone.

An interesting take on the superman story. Not just the typical what if story but an entirely new concept all on it's own. Though the movie adaptation isn't perfect as it has some bits of pacing issues, changing certain things that really shouldn't be, a bunch of forced in elements, but over all a it's a fairly alright movie, not the best, but alright.
