I'm glad we borrowed this game instead of buying it for the Switch. I wouldn't spend a dollar on it.
The only positives I've found with this game are the graphics and the licensed cars available.
The gameplay, however, was so abysmal that we didn't even want to try the track builder features. The controls are borderline terrible, the tracks are long and boring, and the menus poorly designed. It took forever to find that the local split screen option is behind a different homescreen menu and that "multiplayer" meant "online." The incessant prompting to link a Nintendo Switch Online account is downright offensive. Just let me play the damn game.
I couldn't believe how frustrating something as fun as toy cars could be.
