Katherine Pickles

I started watching this and had high hopes after episode one. But it literally lost the plot. It sort of muddled on throwing in random characters without actual characterisation so I had no interest in who they were. Even allowing for Alice's recent sudden bereavement - would she behave so idiotically? I was hoping for something like Keeping Faith but I'm afraid its not up to par, although Keeley Hawes and the other lead characters try hard to keep it going and Nigel Havers lights up the scenes when he's on screen. Too many loose ends were partially tidied up and the remainder left hanging but didnt fill me with a whole lot of enthusiasm for finding out what happens next. Passed the time....other binges are better.
