I saw this movie on HBOMax. It was great. One small note. I now understand the fears of the Theaters and the creatives. I had planned to goto the theater in NYC to watch it. When the movie came out, I just went to HBOMax to check that it was there and because it was there, I didn't leave the house.
Sure, there is nothing like the Movie theater experience. However, because it was on HBOMax streaming service, I just got lazy and decided to stay home and watch it.
If I did this for Godzilla vs Kong, I am quite sure I will do this for any blockbuster movie, going forward.
The moral of the story? WarnerMedia made a big mistake of putting theatrical films on HBOMax, the same day it's in theaters. That's a knee-jerk reaction that seems to be un-warranted.
Again. Godzilla vs Kong was great.
