A brilliant alternate universe where clowns have their own bar to unwind in at the end of a busy clowning day. Adam Sandler in his finest role portrays a vulnerability unmatched since in his 30+ year career. A mockery of the small competitive cliques that form in all kinds of subcultures whether that be high school or stand-up comedy. The social satire was way ahead of its time and I'm afraid over most people's heads even today. Most aptly described by The Boston Globe as "the Citizen Kane of alcoholic clown movies".
