Did not expect this kind of film from experienced director like Priyadarshan. We all know his capabilities very much because of his excellent movie deliveries in the past First and foremost thing in a movie is establishing characters to the audience, director failed to establish main character itself, no need to mention about others then. Though the war sequences are good, the complete energy is missing, feels lag during these scenes also which is strange! Also I see lack in strong screenplay, dialogue delivery and poor performances of few actors too. There are many ways to direct big movies, he could have appointed much experienced team for BGM, sound design, costumes and all, they could have uplifted the movie by large extent! Only the visuals and sfx is comparatively good. Hope the director will realise and learn all these drawbacks and come out with much better movies in future…. all the best sir!

Kappela is good movie, director and team is made sure that all the characters are acted very realistically, surely they would have struggled to do so because most of actors are new faces. Strongly suggest to watch the movie.
