1. Why is the foster care system broken ? What can we do to help foster parents? What little things would help? -Making a pot of chili or some other dinner? Donating some time to read to a child or just sitting with them while they do home work?- Sitting in the bleachers while the child participates in a sport? I wish I was good at house cleaning. I bet that would really help. 2. There should be no statue of limitations for the sexual abuse of a child. Why do abusers get a slap on the wrist while the results and or memories of this crime lasts a lifetime? 3. What is wrong with a parent given the flexibility and encouragement and money to care for their child as long as the parent deems it necessary or beneficial ?
