Shakespeare wrote this play only a 170yrs or so after the real events, so historically it’s pretty much correct in the larger scale of things. Having seen Olivier playing this in the 60’s I can only say that this version trumps any before it. The live action in village sets, an armada at sea and the battle scenes cannot be portrayed like this in theater. Awesome interpretation of a great Kings short life.
