Down right one of the best movies under-rated movies out there. I highly suggest people watch it.
I would also like to point out that people who are writing the reviews like the one below are people who have never had a childhood. The guy seems a little racist and non-heterosexual discriminant and... I mean, the guy can't even spell properly, let alone write a full blown PROPER review;
"Makeing a big budget movie that takes the power rangers seriously and ad a bunch of edgy serious trates to all the rangers, that idea dosn't sound good on paper and it dosn't look good on screan. Remember that show you watched one version of or another you watched as a kid and never once took seriously, well that children's cartoon is getting a gritty reboot, Traney is now a lesbian who lissen a to death metal while doing yoga, Billy is now a hacker who loves country music and may or may not be challenged, Zack has a dying mother and lives in a trailer witch automatically makes me forget about Traney's confession to her parents problem or any of the other power rangers problems, and Jason has a friend who milks a mail cow by accident, and that is the closest form of comic relief you get in this movie that use to be an incredibly inocent kid's show. Remember Retta Repulsa that goofy shrill voiced villain from the show, now she dresses just like the goddes of death from Thor ragnorock and is obsessed with gold and has a scary as hell half formed face closeup. Thier's also a whole plan about getting to a crispy cream to stop reta in what is perhaps the most blatant and shameful form of product placement of the decade. Thier are some interesting fight scenes, and the special effects are great but after all that teen drama and those scenes playing just like a slightly longer episode of the power rangers you still finding it to be a forgettable movie. So is it good for kids? Well thier's the realistic portrail of homosexuality, possible autism, the one form of comic relief being Jason's friend bad touching a cow and a really really really bad useage of product placement, and the closeup of the new Reta Repulsa's face, so probably not. Is it good for adults, well it is based on power rangers and takes itself way to seriously in a reboot of a show you never took seriously, and try's to make the teens normal lives seam more interesting then thier ranger lives, and the final sord fight is something you could get from passific rim, so probably not. Is it good for teens, most teens don't watch power rangers and probably have enough problems already without watching a franchise were they can just do marshal arts just like that. I wasn't sure were to put this but wouldn't it make more sense to make the blue ranger gay since the original blue ranger's actor quit the show because he was bullied for being gay? I'm not complaining,they already made him black and a hacker but why dose thier have to be a lesbian in the group or why dose thier have to be homosexuality in the power rangers period kid's shows are already portraying homosexuality in an innocent natural way already. I was wondering if maybe an animated power rangers series would work then you couldn't see any of the cheesy dated special effects."
