Sleepless Soul

I like this Kdrama because it was so hilarious. Fast paced the whole episode until it gets a bit slow when it reached Ep13 onwards. I love the character of Hwang In-youp as Seo joon. He stands out here. He's so attractive. I can't figure out though what is the definition of UGLY in Korea. Jung Kyuk was not ugly in the true sense she was just wearing a big eyeglasses and some pimples. If she just removed that and wear contact lens (which she wore on the beautiful Jung Kyuk) and treat her pimples. She can buy loads of make--up why she can't buy something for her pimples? She acts differently on both characters which is confusing. The beautiful acts refined while the ugly one acts like a tomboy. The female students are scary. Is it really like that in Korea? They are pictured not just bullies but violent. As always in all Kdrama I've watched, including this one, wives are naggers with big mouth and cruel to husbands esp those who are struggling in life. The rich wives are submissive to husbands. I also love the character of Im Semi, she is really cute (even in Terius) Cha Eun Woo is so handsome that he looks feminine. This is the second time I've watched him (the first was Gangnam Beauty) and still he is already typecasted as so refined. He should be given roles with a character that rolls in the mud or rides a horse. More of a manly role. Overall, it's a good one. I recommend this if you want to have a good time laughing.

Congrats KAIROS ! Finally I was able to watch a KDrama which is different from the usuals. LOVE this ❤ Love Shin Sung-rok, he stands out for his excellent acting. The story is so unique (am tired of love story) and has a great screenplay. I watched Ep 4 - 10 from 9pm till past 5am the following day. I just can't stop. Every episode is worth watching. Thanks for the happy ending, it feels real good.

After more than a month, KDrama MOTHER has finally ended today in Philippine television (Asianovela Channel) The story has many loopholes which I wouldn't elaborate or I might end-up writing the whole day. The story is focused on the "role of a mother" or "what mother is all about." It tackles motherhood and child abuse. Although this is expected, the redundancy though is screaming too loud. It lacks luster because it failed to give the viewers some scenes to tickle the hopelessly romantics (like me) The role of Lee Jae-yoon as Dr. Jin-hong was wasted. He is tall and so handsome. He and Kang Su-jin (Lee Bo-young) look perfect as couple. There should be a part in the story where a beautiful relationship can develop between them in the future. I have waited but in vain. Nothing of it. The writer made the character of Dr. Jin-hong (Lee Jae-yoon) as just a figure that isn't needed when there's no medical concerns. If this was the case, you should have placed any ordinary guy in that role. I love Lee Bo Young, her beauty is timeless. I love Heo Yool she acts naturally and so cute. The cinematography blown me. It captured the real beauty of nature. It is so beautifully done I've been awed several times. This is one of the few best things in the film. The story was deep and inspite of many loopholes yes, it made me cry several times. So be sure to have 3 hankies or a box of tissue to wipe away those tears.
