The Public Sentiment to hang Officer Gallagher was fueled, NO DOUBT, by the MSM's determination to derail President Trump. But that all was washed out with dirty water from a rusty firehose by 60 Minutes' expose. Even the Senior Officer who resigned in protest re: Officer Gallaghers' granting of his "wings" and Rank to which President Trump intervened( properly), has now been discovered to have been a President Trump detractor. Funny how all this political theatre works. The actual "killer" of that ISIS fighter( determined to KILL as many Americans as possible but again, the MSM paints this human animal as some sort of Martyr) was given TOTAL Immunity, rare from a Military Court which tells people like me that KNOWS a ton about USMC that the Top Brass DID know Gallagher did not do the final act of killing that ISIS creep. Gallagher was a tough, rigid trainer, expected his troops to be as him, and the lesser-ones resented him ands took this chance to get rid of Gallagher. Seen this story before, and been there a few times in my life as well. Task masters of today's Policitially Correct cesspools are walking that fine tightrope with the winds of darkness blowing from all directions. Usually 60 Minutes airs shows that disparages President Trump, but this time they aired the FACTS but did not praise the President like they COULD have. Maybe Leslie Stahl threw a hissy fit and the compromise was that 60 Minutes would air just the FACTS and let US, the American people, thank our lucky Stars that this was President Trump's intervention instead of retired President Barack Obama's not caring not one damn bit.
