Likeable plot line but very weak world and character building. Characters are simplistic and trope-like with predictable behaviours and outcomes. It's the sort of book I would have loved as a teenager but lacks the complexity and richness to engage me as an adult. If you are used to books like game of thrones, red rising, or dune, I wouldn't recommend this because it's much weaker.

10/10 A captivating movie that has an unhurried pace that allows for rich character development and intriguing social commentary. That doesn't mean there's no excitement though! The second half of the movie is tense with plot twists and suspense- you don't know who the trust.
Brilliant dystopian movie that I would have loved to have seen as a tv series so there could have been even more development.
