I still support the TV series of Chosen but that was too much. One hour and thirty minutes into it and we are still listening to music videos. I was hoping to bring my family and kids to experience the birth of Christ. By the time the show started my kids were so restless we could not enjoy the actual movie. Still not sure why this was made into a 2 hr theater screen movie. They should have just streamed it from home. The whole message was lost by the music videos. The entire theater was on their cell phones burning time until the movie started the other half was a asleep. My 14 yr old boy got up 3 times to go to the restroom in the first hour. This was not a story of Christ but musicians promoting themselves. To be honest I’m still not sure what the message was. They really missed the mark on this one. I didn’t want to do it but I apologized to my kids after the movie. “Sorry kids, I thought we were going to learn about the birth of Christ, I’m not sure what that was.”
